Mouse and rat control products are effective and fall into two different categories – baits and traps.
Baits are available in the amount of set-up including meal, grains, pellets and blocks. Baits should be used in low passage, hard-to-reach spot such as subterranean vault, garage and upper floor. Baits are the best way to evade contact with rodents, because once they’ve eaten the bait, they leave the area to die, normally going outside to seek water. Baits are safe and very effective if used according to directions.
Traps are ideal for elevated traffic spot. Three types of traps are used commercially: snap traps, glue traps and live traps.
A termite inspection is a full inspection of your house and backyard to see if there is any proof of termites at all. The inspector will thoroughly check the whole lot from your foundations to the top of your roof, as well as cautiously inspecting all timbers all the way through the garden. A termite inspection should take no more than an hour.
The termite treatment or defense system that you need will be best determined by your pest control professional. It will depend on the severity of the issue as well as other issue, and the professional cannot advise you for sure until the inspection is completed.
